“Coming Home” is a multi-layered mixed media series created across three steps. Each piece features a meticulous painted base on 100% cotton rag in a pretty fawn color, block printed geese, and handpainted florals.

This piece is 11”x14” with a print made using green ink and clippings from my garden, a blockprinted geese, and gold florals. The hand-painted gold florals mixed in with the natural shapes of the botanical print creates a beautiful textural contrast, while the gold florals blend in beautifully with the natural ones.

Due to the handmade nature of block printing, there is slight patching, which adds to the texture of the piece over all. This artwork is available UNFRAMED.
